Committed to the Community.

Baird has a long tradition of giving back to the communities where our associates live and work.

Our team is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work by volunteering our time and using our resources. Our ongoing commitment to building relationships in the community and empowering associates to get involved is central to our culture at Baird and our team.

We've engaged with several outstanding organizations, some of which are listed below.

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods National Monument (US National Park) right here in Mill Valley lies in the middle of the redwood forest just south of Monterey. Our team spent the day with Ranger Boone learning about the history, and also tasked with deck flossing - the scraping of debris, rocks, etc in between the cracks of wood from the bridges laid throughout the park.

Gallinas Valley Little League

Gallinas Valley Little League

David spends the spring on the diamond with his kids and their friends, volunteering as a little league coach for Gallinas Valley Little League.

Mill Valley Golf Course

Mill Valley Golf Course

Alex Cushner is heavily involved with the local Mill Valley Golf Course. He believes in access to the sport and has led the effort to close the course and open it for free play for the entire community, one Sunday of every month.

Next Gen Scholars

Next Gen Scholars

Next Generation Scholars equips and empowers first generation, under-resourced Marin County middle and high school students to succeed in college and beyond through socially-conscious leadership development.

Grounded in individualized academic and social support for them and their families, our students are emboldened to address the inequities in the world, both for themselves and for their communities.

Baird Gives Back

Many Baird associates team up during Baird Gives Back Week, an event held annually in the spring, to serve local community organizations that are in need of help.
